BEACH GAMES

The Kenya Beach Games is a sporting event held in the coastal region of Kenya. It is a two-day event that features a variety of beach sports, both traditional and modern.

The Kenya Beach Games is a great opportunity for athletes to compete in a fun and festive environment. It is also a great way to promote tourism to the Kenyan coast. The most recent Kenya Beach Games were held in Malindi in 2023. The event was a success, and it is hoped that the games will continue to be held annually.

The Kenya Beach Games, now in its Second Edition, is a great opportunity for athletes to compete in a fun and festive Environment. It is also a great way to promote tourism to the Kenyan coast. This sporting event, held in the coastal region of Kenya, features a variety of beach sports, both traditional and modern, over a two-day period.

Buntwani Waterfront Park

Buntwani Waterfront Park:

This is a park located along a 7km stretch on Malindi Beach, between the Vasco da Gama pillar and Sabaki River. The first phase of the park is complete and includes an administration block, parking for 100 cars, three stadiums (beach soccer stadium, turf stadium, and regular stadium), a children’s playground, and food court restaurants with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. There are also water sports, camel and horse rides, and quad bike dune rides available further up the beach front.
